Alumnae Celebrate Mercy Day
Twenty alumnae mothers of current parents gathered with their daughters in honor of Mercy Day on September 22, 2022. They enjoyed a continental breakfast in the GMA quadrangle before attending Mercy Day Mass with the rest of the School community.
Alumnae, students, past and current parents, and friends kept the celebration going on Mercy Day, September 24, by supporting the 14th annual Carolyn Keen '10 Memorial 5K Run/1M Walk. The CK5K is an event that raises funds to support the Carolyn Keen ’10 Memorial Scholarship. This year's event featured free food trucks, a DJ, live music by GMA's Girls with Guitars, face painting by GMA's art scholars, a Kid's Fun Run, and a reading of GMA's first children's book La Mariposa.
We hope all our alumnae and community members had a very happy Mercy Day. As the Sisters of Mercy foundress Catherine McAuley once said, "The tender Mercy of God has given us one another." |

Help Replenish Strawberry Market
The Alumnae Association Board's Ministry and Service Committee, in partnership with Alison McGrorty-Crotts, M.D. '04, supports Strawberry Market, a food and necessities pantry for the patients of Strawberry Mansion Health Center in North Philadelphia.
The Gwynedd community is the exclusive provider for the market, so we are asking for continued support to keep it fully stocked! The market is in need of all items on its wishlist.
Items are available to the patients free of charge. The COVID-19 pandemic ravaged this already-struggling neighborhood, leaving many patients unable to work or provide basic necessities for their families.
Items can be purchased directly from the Strawberry Mansion Pantry Target Wish List and will ship directly to Dr. McGrorty-Crotts or items can be dropped off in a bin located inside Gwynedd's front door at any time. Target gift cards can be purchased and emailed to strawberrymarketsmhc@gmail.com.

Raising Money for Children's Education
Alumna Danielle Senour '17 is raising money to help educate children in in Saint-Marc, Haiti. "In the United States, 400 million+ cups of coffee are consumed daily. The cost of this cup is typically above $1.05. This same cost would send a child to school for a day in Haiti, but it is a price many families cannot afford. We are asking that instead of purchasing your cup of coffee, you donate this amount to help send a child to school."
